EVERYBODY MUST WORK!

The song that came to mind this morning was an old dancehall tune by Barrington Levy that says “everybody must work, work harder!” Might want to change it to work smarter but hey, however you devise your workday, work must be done because you do only reap when you have sown efforts into something. Whether that is working with your brains and strategising ways to make other people or things to work for you or doing the work yourself, everybody must work!

I love my prayer times with God because when I do so there is always a word/ theme that I get for a season that gives me a clue to what season I am in, in case one can miss it! One time it can be Kunda Kunda (overcome which makes me know that there are some battles coming that can be overcome if I do not allow them to phase me but stand on the one who has won the victory for me already(Jesus Christ) but the latest one that got me pumped up and really in the zone is Shanda shanda shanda which means work work work!

I am always working but this prompting from the Holy Spirit tells me that there is a supernatural grace to cover great mileage with less effort and so harvest more! The more you sow and invest, the greater the harvest!

2 Thessalonians 3 vs 10 For even while we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either.

Gen 26 vs 12
Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold because the LORD blessed him.

Proverbs 12:11
11 Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense.

So if you have been sitting on your laurels or going slow because you are thinking that the year is almost over, you are tired and you cannot be bothered anymore, why don’t you tap into this grace from God to recover more in less time and keep working! God will bless the work of your hands and bring to fruition that good seed that you have sown into a bumper harvest!

Everybody must work!
